Circuitous events....

If you are confused by the name of today's blog, so am I, Wally however decided to use this word while playing baseball. "Mike Cameron took a circuitous route to that ball", I was confused by it as well too, but it's legit....

In Brewer news today, Sheriff Melvin & Co. delivered their end of the year address and their plans to begin the offseason. A few of the main bright points that I picked up was that it looks like Felipe Lopez and JJ Hardy will go the way of the dodo to clear room for Rickie Weeks & Alcides Escobar for the upcoming year. Also, Melvin squashed any rumors of Rickie moving to center-field, he probably didn't like the results of the last time he did that with an infielder, see Bill Hall. Casey McGehee was also basically named the starting third basemen for next year, here's hoping there is no sophomore slump in the event we end up trading away Gamel/Hardy for a top-tier pitcher such as C.C Sabbathia Ben Sheets.....ok, well I don't know. But there is always the awesome FA Market this year which includes Doug Davis, Justin Duchsherer and Tim Hudson:/

The Bucks, yes Wisconsin, we still do have a professional basketball team even though this year the program looks like the program from the Cleveland Indians and the movie "Major League." You know that it is going to be a long year when your two stars(Michael Redd and Andrew Bogut) are both coming back from surgery, and that ESPN has you ranked 29/30th in their Power Rankings before the season even begins. Let's go lottery!!!

So, and with today, that leaves the Packers. Aaron Rodgers is doing his best David Carr impersonation by being sacked twenty times so far through four games. Many people think it is because he has lost the facial hair, I however think that it mostly comes down to the fact that our offensive line is in shambles, and here's to hoping that Mark Tauscher if we resign him is our saving grace....

Lastly, our friend Lloyd Heitman picked up a 10 pin last night bowling for the spare. If you knew how hard this guy through the ball you would understand. He is the Rick Vaughn of bowling, true story.

Really the last thing, Ned Yost might be coming back with either the Cleveland Indians or Houston Astros, I can't wait to see FNY.com back up soon!!!
